Timothy, guard what has been entrusted to your card. Turn away from godless chatter and the opposing ideas of what is falsely called knowledge, which some have prossed and in so doing ahve wandered from the faith. (I Timothy 2:20-21).
Our youth hear a lot of "godless chatter" of what is falsely called "knowledge." Our Christian youth need to hear that God is real, and that there is more God-honouring inforation available to us now than ever before. Our non-Christian youth need to be exposed to that God-honourng information. That is the passion of EYMI!
See on this website the growing list of incredible videos in the EYMI library. Teachers are using our materials. A growing number are particularly attracted to the Video specific Notes and Quizzes provided by EYMI.
Our purpose is to explose the youth to our God by showing them evidence of God as our Creator, "that they might set their hope in God, and not forgete the works of God, but to keep His commandments." Psalm 78:7.
We are limited by lack of effectual prayer, and by lack of sufficient funds. Prayer for EYMI and its ministry ties Satan's hands and shortens his leash. Donations to EYMI allow us to provide more incredible Chrsitian videos, and to travel to more places to show these to more students.
Our appeal to you today is;
1) Please pray for EYMI. Now that our school divisions are larger, it is harder to get permission to be in our schools. We cannot influence children whom we do not reach.
2) Pelase support EYMI financially. We cannot offer materials to children if we cannot afford to purchase them or travel to their towns.
3) Attend the Annual EYMI Banquet, on November 14th at Rock of Ages Lutheran Brethren Church, 130 Kingsmere Place, Saskatoon, which begins with punch and fellowship at 4:30 and a complimentary banquet at 5:00, thanks to the generous sponsorship of John and Shirley Martens. Our program will follow. You must call in to reserve for the number in your group by Mon. Nov. 9th. Call 934-4970 or 239-4784 to reserve.
4) Please invite friends to come to the Banquet with you. The speaker, music, testimonies and good food will inspire and motivate your own Chrsitian walk, as well as your commitment to be part of all that EYMI is doing for His kingdom.
